Privacy Policy

CourtGuide is built for tennis families. We collect only what we need to provide personalized recruiting guidance, and we do not sell your personal information. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

• Assessment inputs: UTR, GPA, age, graduation year, gender, intended major, recruiting region, and goals.
• Account information: email and first name when you create an account to save your progress.
• Preferences: saved schools, division and region preferences, and academic interests.

We log non-identifying product events (page views, dashboard interactions, scenario toggles, tool usage) to understand which parts of CourtGuide create value and where users get stuck. UTR and GPA are recorded only as broad bands (e.g. “UTR 8-9”) rather than exact values. We do not sell analytics data and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Account sign-in is handled through our backend provider (Supabase). Passwords are never visible to CourtGuide; they are stored as hashed credentials by the auth provider. We receive only your email, user ID, and the profile fields you choose to save.

Match Point purchases are processed by Stripe. CourtGuide never sees or stores your full card number, CVC, or bank details. We receive a payment confirmation, a Stripe customer/charge ID, and your purchase status so we can unlock your access. Stripe’s handling of payment information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy.

CourtGuide uses browser local storage and session cookies to keep you signed in, remember your assessment progress, and store small UI preferences (such as premium-preview state). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• Generate your personalized college matches, recruiting roadmap, and milestones.
• Save and restore your progress across sessions and devices.
• Process Match Point purchases and unlock premium access.
• Improve CourtGuide through aggregated, non-identifying product analytics.
• Communicate about your account, purchases, or significant product changes.

We share information only with the service providers we need to run CourtGuide (hosting, auth, payments, email). We do not sell personal information and we do not share your recruiting data with college coaches, admissions offices, or third parties without your explicit action.

• Access or export your saved assessments and preferences.
• Correct or update your account information at any time.
• Delete your account and associated saved data by contacting us.
• Opt out of non-essential product emails.

CourtGuide is designed for high-school-aged athletes and their families. If a user is under 13, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account.
